Electrical Panel Gas Suppression Systems
Electrical Panel Gas Suppression Systems are applied with 2 different methods - Direct and Indirect - that use FM200™ and NOVEC™1230 with an operating pressure of 16 bars and CO2 gas with an operating pressure of 50 bars.
This system consists of a cylinder where extinguishing gas (FM200™, NOVEC™1230 or CO2 gas) is stored, a gas discharge valve and a plastic-based pipe with special orifices available on it. When the temperature in the panel reaches 120 °C, both fire is detected and gas is discharged with the tearing of the orifices on the pipe.
FM200™ (HFC-227ea), NOVEC™1230 (Fk-5-1-12) or CO2 gas is commonly used as an extinguisher in these systems.
When it is required to supply these systems with approval, it is possible to supply them with LPCB approval up to 2 m³ volume.
This system consists of a cylinder where extinguishing gas is stored, a gas discharge valve, a plastic-based pipe with special orifices available on it and a seamless stainless steel pipeline that allows for the discharge of gas. When the temperature in the panel reaches 120 °C, the orifices on the pipe are torn, fire is detected and the valve on the cylinder is triggered upon the reduction of the pressure inside the hose, and gas is discharged through the special orifice nozzle at the outlet of the fixed stainless steel pipe installation.
FM200™ (HFC-227ea), NOVEC™1230 (Fk-5-1-12) or CO2 gas is commonly used as an extinguisher in these systems.
These systems can be supplied from foreign manufacturers as a single cylinder up to 10 m³ volume.
