EDWARDS Emergency Announcement and Voice Evacuation systems can be installed in the same cabinet in integration with the EST3 fire alarm panels, and automatic announcements and information messages can be scheduled in advance. Selection of local warnings and monitoring of the loudspeaker circuits are executed through addressable zone amplifiers in the emergency announcement system. For each announcement zone, one addressable amplifier and digital message modules, where voice messages are recorded, are used. The emergency announcement system has an 8-channel announcement central unit that can announce 8 different messages at the same time in different fire zones within the facility. The emergency announcement unit has an announcement microphone unit for the use by the operator and is capable of supporting local and external microphones, telephone lines and auxiliary sound sources.
EDWARDS Emergency Announcement and Voice Evacuation Systems:
EDWARDS firefighter phones that operate in integration with the EST3 panels and allow for communication with the operator in the command center are generally used in strategic locations such as corridors, lobbies, mechanical rooms, stairs, etc. EDWARDS firefighter phones can be installed in a locked enclosure with a metal or glass cover, and there are also portable firefighter phones that can be used by plugging them into sockets that are fixed to the wall at multiple points. 6 of the portable phones can be stored in a cabinet. When the fixed telephone is picked up or the portable telephone is plugged into a wall socket, an audible and visual warning is transmitted to the Firefighter Telephone Control Unit available in the EST3 panel in the command center. The operator can answer the incoming call by picking up the phone available on the Firefighter Telephone Control Unit and, if necessary, he can select other firefighter telephones and ensure their participation in the call.
