Coskunoz Metal Form, which manufactures pressed sheet metal parts for the automotive industry, is the first company established under Coskunoz Holding. With more than half a century of industrial experience, it is the market leader in its sector in Türkiye.
Its CMF-1 facility, established on an area of 40 decares in Bursa, is the company’s largest premises. The facility operates with a total enclosed area reaching 60,000 m², an annual steel processing capacity of 120,000 tons and a workforce of 1,250 employees.
The installation of the plant’s fire detection and alarm systems was carried out by EEC Integrated Building Control Systems. The engineering, material supply and commissioning services of the systems were also performed by EEC.
The first fire detection system at Coskunoz was installed in the Die Manufacturing Plant. Subsequently, the Metal Form Plant was commissioned. In 2022, the new administrative building and training halls were also integrated into the system. In 2024, an additional temporary building was constructed next to the plant. Thanks to the stable operation of the system since the initial installation, EEC has continued to be the preferred solution partner for all expanding areas of the plant.
The EST Edwards Panel, installed at the main management center of the system, features a modular and expandable architecture together with a high-speed communication infrastructure. It supervises thousands of devices within seconds and executes complex evacuation scenarios flawlessly.
Point-Type Detectors featuring microprocessor-based intelligent detection algorithms are used in the office areas. These detectors identify fire at its initial stage on a point basis and enable rapid intervention.
The OSID UV/IR Beam-Type Smoke Detectors used in the plant halls distinguish dust from smoke through dual-wavelength technology. Therefore, they prevent false alarms and provide a high level of reliability.
All fire-related events are monitored and controlled in real time through architectural layouts by means of the Edwards FW-CGSUL Graphic Monitoring Software deployed at the center of the security operations. By providing visual guidance to security personnel during incidents, it facilitates crisis management.
Sensitive protection against localized temperature increases is achieved through the Protectowire Linear Heat Detector used in the harsh operating environments of the facility.
The Seismic Safety Panel installed at the facility initiates the actions required during an earthquake. It eliminates the risk of secondary fires that may occur during seismic activity and maximizes the overall safety of the facility.
Through this modern and integrated structure, a high level of protection against fire risks has been achieved throughout the facility.
