The Divan Residence is a facility with 42 resident floors and 2 large shops on a total of 56 thousand sqm indoor area. There is also a helipad on top. It provides full residence service.
Before I started working at the Divan Residence, I had heard of EEC when I was working on the Taş Yapı projects in 2008. When I started working on this project in 2012, we got to know EEC much better. Previously, I did not have good knowledge of the security systems market. As I have learned about the systems, I realized how precious EEC is. In the other projects, I observed the systems of other companies which made a one-time investment and then stopped using these systems. There were also other cases where companies came up with high prices for customers based on a money oriented approach. When compared to the perspective of EEC, I trust you extremely in terms of support, care and interest. There are surely some shortcomings and setbacks.
As I get to know EEC more and take the opportunity to compare it with the systems of other companies based on my experience in construction, I can see that there is a serious infrastructure and sustainability at the Divan Residence. Fire detection, fire extinguishing and emergency announcement systems are among the topics that I care about the most. We use these systems at the maximum level, 100% efficient and uninterrupted at the Divan Residence. I was scared because of some bad practices that I observed in other hotels, but EEC provides us with full support. EEC has eliminated all of my fears.
When I assess the system as a whole, I think that we are working with excellent devices. Smoke detectors and our Bosch emergency alarm system operate perfectly based on German logic. It is an awesome system. I absolutely adore these devices. I have never seen a detector breaking down unless it contacts water. We have a system that has been operating flawlessly since we became 100% operational in 2012. The detectors provide smooth services even in difficult areas inside the cable ducts and at extreme points that we cannot reach.
As we have a notification and announcement system, I can easily turn my back and go home. I am not exaggerating it, I mean it honestly. Our systems are extremely reliable; thanks to the support we receive from you, we continue and maintain the protection.
When there is a problem in the system, I can definitely find a contact person. The technical support team takes care of our problems and solves them without adopting a money oriented approach. EEC is not like many other companies that work with a money oriented approach. There were many cases where you said: "Let the money stay behind a little bit, let's solve your existing problem first". This surely increases our trust in EEC.
I am satisfied with the services of EEC. When I call the technical support, I talk to someone that has seen our building and intervened many times before, and can take very fast actions to solve our problem. There are numerous cases where we solved problems on the phone, and this is a situation that increases your value as a company. Your technical support team currently adopts our business as their own business 100%, but I still think that a person from the technical support should be assigned to us to provide feedback. The more your interest and concern is higher, the more our actions, care and efficiency will be higher.
We worked with you in the field and learned a lot from the technical team. After all, not everyone on our side had knowledge, you also helped to train the staff here.
We care about life safety and property more than anything else. These are the systems used to save lives; they exist to ensure that a life is not lost, and information is provided in advance. In a few cases we had before, we witnessed how useful and good this notification system is and to keep it sustainable and operational. Based on the lessons we have taken from the past, I care about systems and I want you to care for us too. It is also nice that someone on your side is pushing us, saying: “You have this problem, let's get rid of it.” This is exactly what we want to hear.
Our fire detection panel has shortcut keys, which offer ease of use. In the future, I would like to have a few more add-ons that would simplify the system even more. Thanks to the benefits of these keys, we solve our problems with the shortcuts such as "Press this button, OK, your problem is solved, press this button and that has stopped". The addressing and infrastructure of the panel is extremely good. It identifies the detectors for which alarm has been triggered on a point basis. The staff here also respond quickly. It is definitely not misleading.
We have full confidence in our fire notification system. For example, we arrived at the doors of one of our apartments when a pot caught fire, even before the residents in that apartment became aware of such fire. This shows that the system operates so well. By detecting the fire when it is very small, we prevent both the fire and damage to the life of a person. EDWARDS has no hesitation on whether or not to operate. If it says it is operating, then it is definitely operating.
The ability to broadcast music through the BOSCH Emergency Announcement System is also a good point. It is also good that no matter what adjustments you want, when you switch to the emergency announcement, it disables all adjustments and returns to its own adjustment. It is also good that it serves at a certain volume, a certain voice level and voice flow rate previously set by the authorized officers. We witness this in every test, and this makes us feel comfortable.
There is nothing that I am dissatisfied with about BOSCH and EDWARDS. The only thing I am dissatisfied with is the little add-ons on the screen and the terms offered only in English. However, I have to say that I have full confidence in all of the products. I would definitely recommend and have already recommended the products and services of EEC for some projects.
The name EEC evokes sustainability and trust. Your care and interest in your work and for example visiting here today are always a reason for trust. Many people who are involved in this business have EEC in their minds, and they are aware of it.
The quality of the products is impeccable, but there is another issue. The quality of the products is impeccable, but I cannot say the same for the price. I have an annual budget allocated to you, and if I buy maybe 10 power sources, I will have spent the entire budget at once. There are also some expenses that I cannot predict. Of course, we will spend money to maintain the system, but I expect you to be a bit more transparent about the prices. If you can simplify your pricing policy a bit more and make it comparable, you would support me when I have to explain my position to my superiors.
Whether they are cards, detectors, power sources or panels, they meet all our expectations. The system has been operating impeccably for the last 10 years. This system is an impeccable system; once you install it, you will forget it. Of course, minor interventions are required, but once you install it, forget it completely. One of the most important facts is that the detectors operate without touching them as long as they do not contact with water. The only components that we touch are power supplies. Yes, they cost a lot and they cannot be repaired. We have bought 6 power supplies in 10 years, and we had bought 2 before that. Actually, power supplies have very simple problems and they do their jobs, but here they cause a simple failure in communication. It is obvious that the system and the products are trouble-free, and they have been operating flawlessly all this time.
EEC has taken actions in recent years to increase its interest and care. I feel like they are taking very serious actions to enhance their services. We can understand this from the feedback provided on the service forms and when we talk to our technical service and our Corporate Sales Manager. I can see that the contracts section has been divided into units, and they try to simplify it, and I can even feel that you are taking actions to further simplify it. Everything is very good, very productive. Mr. Hasan (Hasan Düz) is a full supporter, but it seems to me that he feels he has to forget the problems a little. It is not that he does not care, but it is like he just fails to keep up. He cares, he is interested and he is trying to help. We can understand that you are busy, your staff is absolutely efficient and great. Mr. Hasan is also very kind, polite and has a good approach to work, and he wants to take care of the business. But it seems to me that you can simplify his work a little. I mean, of course, I have never seen Mr. Hasan personally.
There were times when we worked day and night during the installation phase of the system. A great amount of effort was exerted at the time of installing the system. I think EEC has absolutely worked flawlessly. They excellently worked on the project together with the electrical engineer here, including the identification of the names of the locations, even before the building was constructed. There is nothing that I can say today, "I wish this was done here," "They did it badly". This demonstrates how professional you are in undertaking and delivering the job.
