The “Moreon” Aquapark located in Moscow offers the exciting atmosphere of a beach vacation without the need to leave the city. Moreon, which was opened in 2013 and which is the largest water park of Moscow, makes its visitors have a beach experience at any time of the year.

The multifunctional complex “Moreon” offers an incredibly wide range of entertainment and recreational services. The complex includes the largest water park of the Eastern Europe, which is at the size of 6000m2. The cozy cafes on the three-storey terrace of the complex offer the possibility of relaxing while 7 giant water slides make visitors of all ages experience thrilling moments.

In addition to the water park, “Moreon” includes luxurious thermal baths, a spa center, a modern bowling alley, fitness center, sports hall, dance programs, martial arts school, swimming pool and much more. “Moreon” is the number one entertainment center which families prefer for vacation.

Role of EEC

EEC has designed the system of Moreon by taking into account the local regulations and standards of Russia. The commissioning works have been successfully completed with the technical staff consisting of the Russian and Turkish engineers in EEC Moscow office. EEC also quickly give response to the service requests related to the delivered systems from its Moscow office.

A solution has been developed with the GOST certified UTC products for

  • Fire Alarm System,
  • Access Control System and
  • Security System

 

which are under the obligation of EEC and it has been ensured that these systems function as integrated within themselves.

Technical Approach

UTC Aritech, the main control and integration platform, and

  • UTC Aritech Fire Alarm System,
  • UTC Aritech Access Control System,
  • UTC Aritech Security System,
  • UTC TruVision CCTV System

 

which are the sub-components of the system have been gathered under a single roof. These systems, which can be accessed through single software, have provided the user with the opportunity of easy intervention and control.

There are 10 control panels functioning as a network in the UTC Aritech Fire Alarm System. There are 3800 detectors connected to these control panels and over 500 monitoring and control modules that monitor the extinguishing system equipment, provide mechanical device control used in smoke evacuation, and control other systems as required by the fire scenario.

310 light warning devices that are the part of the evacuation system are controlled by the fire alarm control panels.

Moreon Aquapark accommodates plenty of atriums due to its architectural structure. In these parts of the building, smoke detection is ensured with 14 VESDA Active Air Drawn Smoke Detectors.

In the UTC Aritech Access Control System, passages to the areas that are of critical importance for the plant have been taken under control with 57 Mifare Card Readers. With the Distributed Door Control Module architecture, wiring has been kept at minimum level.

Over 900 security system equipment have been used in the UTC Aritech Security System. The security risks have been assessed and zoning has been arranged in accordance with the operation of the plant. There are zones that can be activated and deactivated by the user along with the zones where the 24/7 security system is activated. These controls can be made with the keypads available at 19 different points.

The UTC TruVision CCTV System includes a total of 205 indoor and outdoor cameras. The outdoor camera housings have been selected with the properties in accordance with the meteorological conditions of Russia. At the system center located in the security room, the camera images are recorded for 30 days on 13 DVR recorders. The live and recorded images are also monitored through 13 CCTV monitors.  The control keyboard that is used for the management of the PTZ Dome cameras available in the system is located at the system center.
