Launched in 2012, "Mistral Izmir" is 216 meters high with a closed area of 124 thousand m2 and consists of two towers: a 47-storey office tower and a 37-storey residential tower with 10 floors for hotel use. The facility welcomes a large number of users and visitors. Built in the Bayraklı area, the complex offers comfort with its 5000 m2 sports and spa area with private studios, indoor/outdoor swimming pool, sun terrace, SPA area and Kids Club. The special outrigger system used on the technical floors of both towers is an important measure taken for earthquake and wind loads.
EDWARDS Fire Detection and Alarm, EDWARDS Smoke Detection and Control Systems were preferred in Mistral İzmir, which is one of the tallest buildings in İzmir.
The engineering improvements of the systems, installation service in the ongoing process and material supply were carried out by EEC Integrated Building Control Systems.
As a requirement of the nature of mixed buildings, the structure includes multiple different forms of use such as Shopping Mall, Office, Residential, each with its own dynamics, EST3 Fire Detection and Alarm System and Smoke Detection and Control System, which is one of the most accurate solutions suitable for the needs and facility, are installed, and complex scenarios are carried out smoothly in real-time.
The 12 EST3 panels installed communicate on a single system as a network. There are approximately 2800 point-type detectors in the system, 2000 modules that monitor/control auxiliary equipment and 3rd party devices for the healthy operation of the scenario.
Fireworks Graphic Monitoring Computer and Graphic Monitoring Software allow the operator to monitor the entire system from a single point, instantly through the graphic maps.
