Yatsan, with more than 45 years of experience, is the sole manufacturer and distributor of world-renowned mattress brands such as Tempur, Sealy, Serta, King Koil in Turkey and in more than 10 countries in Europe and Asia. The company, which has nearly 100 sales points in Turkey alone, is preferred in 50 countries around the world.
Yatsan Izmir Factory is a mattress production facility operating in a closed area of 22 thousand m2 built on a total open area of 60 thousand m2. Nearly 600 personnel work in shifts at the factory, working 24/7 to meet orders from home and abroad.
Siemens Cerberus Pro Fire Detection and Alarm System, Securiton ASD Air Pull Smoke Detection System, Xtralis OSID Open Area Smoke Detection, FFE Fireray Beam Type Smoke Detection and G+M Emergency Announcement and Public Address solutions were preferred in Yatsan project.
The engineering, material supply, cabling infrastructure and commissioning services of the systems were completed by EEC Entegre Bina Kontrol Sistemleri within a period of 3 months.
The system was designed in accordance with EN54 standards at Yatsan Factory. The fire alarm system includes a total of around 500 addressable detectors, buttons, modules and control panels that control them. Within the scope of the project; a total of 3 control panels were installed, one covering the production and administrative building, one covering the shipment area, and one covering the facility within the Pancar OSB area. The recurrence panel installed in the security center provides alarm and event monitoring in the facilities.
Since the facility has storage areas with high ceilings and high shelves that are difficult to access, 15 SecuriRAS ASD Active Air Aspirating Smoke Detection solutions, which are the most suitable solution for these areas, were offered. Especially in the shipment area and in the buildings with raw material warehouses, air aspirating detectors were preferred, providing early detection and preventing errors that may occur due to beam interruption during material loading/unloading on the shelves when beam-type detectors are used.
Due to textile production, OSID Open Area Smoke Detection products were used to prevent false alarms that may arise from the structure of the facility containing sponge, piping, fiber, interlining, cotton and dusty areas and to prevent unnecessary downtime.
In the welding sections of the production area, Linear Type Temperature Detectors were preferred as a solution to the problem in order to prevent false alarms that may arise from welding fumes.
In the production and administrative building sections, the Swiss origin G+M Emergency Announcement and Public Address System, all central and field units of which have EN54 certificates, was installed in order to enable people to evacuate accurately and quickly in case of possible risks in the facility.
