Anadolu Efes is Turkey's largest beer producer and market leader with 18 brands in its portfolio. The Ankara Brewery started its activities in 1995 as the fourth brewery of the Anadolu Efes Group.
Founded in Istanbul in 1966, Anadolu Efes is the 5 largest beer company in Europe and the 15 largest beer company in the world with some 60 brands. It is the leader in the Turkish sector with 3 breweries, 2 malt factories and 1 hops processing facility.
Aiming to contribute to the social and cultural development of our country, Anadolu Efes founded a sports club in Istanbul in 1976 under the sponsorship of the Efes Pilsen beer brand. Due to the success that it has achieved in the Turkish and European cups and the basketball players that it has raised, it has increased public interest in basketball.
EEC created a Fire Detection and Alarm System solution in the Anadolu Efes Ankara Brewery project. In the Fire Detection and Alarm System, we employed the products of UTC Edwards, which are unrivaled in the sector with their advanced control and communication technologies, smart detection characteristics and unmatched survival characteristics. In addition, laser and aspirating detectors and the Fireray5000 beam type detectors were used. EEC also ensures maintenance works with its technical services staff in accordance with EN54 standards, ensuring that the system operates with the same precision just like the first day.
There is a network of 1 EST3 main control panel and 1 repeater panel within the factory that consists of a production building, administrative buildings and a fermentation facility. In addition to the addressable point detectors in the common areas, laser and quite sensitive aspirating smoke detectors that ensure protection in larger areas and allow for early detection were used. The purpose is to detect possible fire signs at the earliest stage. Fire detection is applied with 20 Fireray5000 beam type detectors in the high ceiling areas.
Panels and addressable field components that constitute the system can be controlled with the FireWorks Graphic Monitoring software installed at a single point. While the software acts as a hub that transmits alarm and fault messages to the operators in order of priority, it automatically displays the location of the detectors on the factory plans, thus reducing the investigation time for response. With the FireWorks software, the pollution level of all addressable devices can be reported, so that maintenance needs can be monitored across the system, and the maintenance period can be decided.
