In 1922, the Italian merchant Vincenzo Caivano had Macka Palace Apartment Building built by Guilo Mongeri at the location of the palace of Munire Sultan, the granddaughter of Sultan Abdulmecit.
The 8-storey apartment building had 64 flats and its architecture was designed under the influence of the palaces of Milan. The apartment building, which had famous residents when Caivano was alive, was sold to Dogus Holding by the only surviving grandson of the family in 1994 because it was left neglected over the years.
The restoration, which was meticulously conducted by Dogus Holding by preserving the architecture of Macka Palace, started in 1997 and continued for 11 years. The Park Hyatt Macka Palace Hotel was opened in November 2008.
The boutique hotel having 90 rooms and with a swimming pool on its terrace includes 7 'park suites', 1 'executive suite', 1 'diplomatic suite' and 1 'king suite'.
EEC has performed the installation of fire alarm systems in the Park Hyatt Macka Palace hotel. The engineering, material supply and commissioning services for these systems have been performed by EEC. In the applications, works that comply with the European Standard EN54-14 have been carried out. The periodical maintenance of the system is also carried out by EEC.
The devices that are used in the Park Hyatt Macka Palace hotel have been selected from among the Edwards products, which are advanced technology fire alarm and smoke control systems
The Fireworks Graphical Monitoring Software, being is a software by which the alarm and failure management and visual monitoring from the PC screen are carried out, enables the system to be managed from a single point. The FireWorks software enables the pollution level of all addressable devices to be reported, thus the need for maintenance throughout the system to be monitored and the maintenance period to be decided.
The emergency call buttons available in all room bathrooms can be monitored via a central panel.
