AC Hotel Istanbul Macka by Marriott has been put into service by having been renovated according to the innovations introduced by the developing technology and the Marriott standards.
EEC has contributed from the very beginning of the project in order to ensure that this project has been performed in accordance with the Marriott standards. UTC brand CCTV system, Cooper brand fire alarm system and Aritech brand card access system have been used in order to ensure the security of the hotel. Johnson Controls brand building automation system has been used for ensuring energy saving, central control, comfort and preventing labor loss in the heating, cooling and ventilation devices.
The building automation system is a system that consists of 1750 points. All information about air handling units, fans, circulation pumps, waste water pumps, heat recovery devices, boilers and treatment devices that are used for heating, cooling and ventilation can be monitored and controlled by the building automation system. Moreover, the VRV devices available inside the rooms and common areas have been integrated into the building automation system by using the BAcnet protocol. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, the operating personnel can easily monitor and control the mechanical devices in the entire building.
The information received from the fire alarm system is transferred to the building automation system through the integration of the fire alarm system with the building automation system. Dampers, fans, air handling units and other mechanical devices that are used in the smoke control system are controlled via the fire alarm system. Apart from the fire alarm panel, a smoke control mimic panel has been installed in order to ensure manual smoke control.
The CCTV system ensures the security of the hotel and its customers by monitoring the critical locations such as entrances, exits, corridors and fire-escape stairs throughout the building.
