This is a question that every enterprise should answer when installing or renewing a CCTV system. Certain purposes could be as follows:

- Is image analysis required?
In order to avoid unnecessary investment or lack of performance, it is decided whether there will be an analysis feature when choosing a video management system. The systems that can perform analysis automatically detect the hazard and send a pre-alarm to the operator. However, it may not be necessary to have a video analysis feature in every system.

- Where are the areas that should be monitored and not monitored?
- Are there objects moving at high speed?
- What are the climatic conditions?
