Located in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan; the Landmark Complex consists of 3 buildings with a total area of 65.000 sqm providing office and hotel services. The Landmark offers advanced technological properties from uninterrupted power supply to the state-of-the-art communication system.
EEC Integrated Building Control Systems undertook the installation of the Fire Detection and Alarm and Emergency Announcement and Public Address Systems in the 3rd building that has 25 floors. EEC has also started its works for the systems of the 1st and 2nd buildings.
I have heard about EEC before in Istanbul and Baku, and we had the opportunity to cooperate, albeit indirectly. We have also received positive feedback about EEC because we heard that the large complexes and hotels in Baku cooperate with EEC.

In our project, we chose the SIEMENS Fire Detection System and G+M Emergency Announcement and Public Address Systems. Easy access to the SIEMENS spare parts was one of the factors that influenced our choice. I think that it also has benefits such as technical stability and steady operation. SIEMENS is a well-established brand with high level of recognition. As SIEMENS was used in our first building, we wanted all buildings to be the same. Existence of multiple companies that can provide us with technical services and support was another reason for us to choose this brand.
I did not know much about the G+M brand before, but we chose it due to their references in Baku, Swiss production, its compliance with the EN-54 and the recommendation of EEC. Now we believe that it was a good decision to choose the G+M brand.
As the offices in The Landmark are used by multinational companies and consulates, it was very important to have a steady emergency announcement system. We chose the G+M products because they are all certified and approved. Our main purpose is to be able to ensure evacuation in case of emergency. Both we and the companies here had very successful drills, and this increased the confidence in the system, and the feedback was very positive. We have a system that technically answers all questions.
The most useful property of SIEMENS is that it can be integrated with our other building and other systems, and we can monitor all systems and all our equipment through the graphic interface. This was very important for us. I would like to indicate that the SIEMENS interface is easy to use and practical.
Our building is fully protected against fire and we can follow it over the project. We think that switching to the new system is definitely better for us and for our office customers.

Our Fire Detection System quickly notifies us about any fire or breakout of fire. Here, our first priority is to minimize the impact of the human factor. The fire detection system is indispensable in our building. When I first started working in this building, this was our first request from the landlord. We wanted a more up-to-date, more technological and more functional system, and they accepted our request, and we fulfilled it quickly together with EEC.
