Founded in Gebze in 1990, ASAŞ is among the most important industrial enterprises in Turkey with over 2400 employees in its 5 state-of-the-art production facilities in the Akyazı Sakarya region and exports to over 80 countries.
ASAŞ serves its customers through the production facilities of Aluminum Profile, Composite Panel, Aluminum Flat Products, PVC Profile and Shutters in a total area of 750.000 sqm, 300.000 sqm of which is an indoor area in the Akyazı and Karapürçek premises.
The engineering, materials supply and commissioning services of Fire Detection and Alarm, Public Address and Emergency Announcement, IP CCTV and Video Control Systems for the Asaş Aluminum Factory Project were undertaken by EEC.
Eaton Fire Alarm System, ACTI and Panasonic IP CCTV System, Bosch Voice Alarm and Music Broadcasting System products were used.
There are Fire Alarm Control Panels that operate as a network within the Fire Alarm System. The panels control the addressable detectors, buttons and modules.
To better protect the valuable assets in the factory, the system detects problems at a very early phase and strengthens our fire and security measures in terms of the sustainability of the facility; aspirating smoke detectors were used in larger areas, which ensure protection for very early detection purposes and allow for early detection, in addition to the addressable point detectors used in the common areas. The purpose was to detect possible signs of fire at the earliest phase.
The devices used in the voice alarm system of the factory were selected from among Bosch Security's Plena Range voice alarm and public address system products that comply with international safety standards (IEC60849 -EN60065-EN55103). In the system that was designed based on evacuation zones, evacuation messages are automatically transmitted to the relevant zones according to the fire scenario. There are also announcement units within the system hub where announcements can be made for each zone.
For the camera system, we used Acti and Panasonic brand cameras, which are highly praised by customers due to their success in performance tests. The images from the cameras used within the factory are recorded and monitored from the system room on a 24/7 basis.
