Since Vestel City Production Facilities are a mega project, the safety of life and property is also of great importance. In the fire alarm system established in such a facility, we have been glad to fulfill the task we have undertaken for years in terms of both technical competence and service quality by being selected from among many companies.
We designed and installed the Fire Detection and Alarm System of Vestel Manisa Facilities with the products of Edwards, a 145-year-old company purchased by UTC Fire & Security. We installed a high-tech electronic security system with smart, algorithm-based detectors in the mega factory. Edwards' EST-3 fire control panel can be considered as a system designed to be used in mega projects such as Vestel, with its flexible programming capability and the ability to create very large networks.
Vestel's Fire Detection and Alarm System is an exemplary project where superior features are applied for both the Vestel Security Directorate’s organization and EEC, from its design to its installation, testing and commissioning processes to its maintenance processes.
Vestel Manisa Facilities are planned as 2 different campuses. One of them is the Vestel Electronic Central Factory that was the first established. There are 6 central fire alarm control panels and 2 repetition panels at the Central Factory and 8 panels in total. Approximately 1200 detection points in total and as many monitoring and control points operate within the same infrastructure.
In Vestel City, a total of 13 control panels, including 11 central fire alarm control panels and 2 repetition panels, are managed from one center by communicating through the fiber optic network interfaces in the product range of UTC Fire & Security Edwards and from the Security Center in Vestel City.
Vestel Manisa Facilities' Fire Detection and Alarm System includes over 3.700 point type detectors, almost 400 beam type smoke detectors, over 140 air extraction smoke detectors, and almost 2000 monitoring and control points. A fire alarm system with a total of 21 panels protects the enterprises.
The Fire Detection and Alarm System is visually monitored with the Fireworks Graphic Monitoring Software.
This multi-system architecture, which we have established at Vestel Manisa Facilities and have been working on for more than 13 years, constitutes a very advanced structure and will continue to do so.
