The largest companies in the world such as Microsoft, Cisco etc. install their Security Systems with Lenel. The Onguard 7.5 is the latest version of Lenel's Integrated Security Management Software. As the companies that receive services from Lenel are dispersed over more than one location around the world, it successfully manages a redundant distributed architecture between countries, which is a property that its competitors fail to do.
OnGuard 7.5 has the following characteristics in addition to the innovations introduced by the version 7.4.
Integration
In case of a fire, earthquake, flood, terror, attack, stampede or similar emergency, all locks in the relevant area may need to be disabled, and a series of scenarios may need to be activated.
Lenel has integrated the models that it has been selling for years with each other. Lenel allows manufacturers to develop a software interface for OnGuard with this API. Thanks to the OpenAccess Alliance Program (OAAP), Lenel tests and certifies the integrations of all companies integrated with it in its factory.
If any door for which an access control system has been installed is forcibly opened, or if it is left open longer than planned, or if fire notification has been received from any detector, or if a breakdown occurs in the elevator system etc., the system should trigger an alarm and the camera image closest to the scene should appear on the screen automatically.
The OnGuard 7.5 provides users with the features such as remote monitoring, live monitoring, recording playback, monitoring from the map, watching the alarm moment video, watching one-click event video from the alarm logs, forward and backward playing etc. Lenel also continues to develop its partnership with Milestone Systems, the world's best Video Management Software.
OnGuard 7.5 is supported by the Microsoft® Azure® cloud hosting platform. When the OnGuard 7.5 is deployed in the cloud, it eliminates server hardware requirements. Software installations, updates and hardware risks are reduced.
OnGuard 7.5 also benefits from the two critical platform characteristics such as Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft SQL Server.
Onguard 7.5 offers a unique experience. Visitors can complete their visitor forms on the web and obtain all authorizations and approvals before entering the facility. Only by signing the field available on the Tablet at the reception desk, they can access their own badges if approved. Likewise, facility employees can register their guests on their own, and allow them to act without need for waiting upon arriving at the facility.
OnGuard 7.5 supports the third party authentication solutions that provide a wide range of authentication options for the users logging into the OnGuard through the OpenID® Connect standard.
OnGuard 7.5 supports the NIST (North American Electric Reliability Corporation) and NERC (National Institute of Standards and Technology) compliant password management and Two-Factor Authentication. It is compatible with Single Sign On.
