In order to facilitate our work in the Aegean Region with a professional team, we have given a new impulse to the Aegean Regional Directorate by cooperating with ABS Alarm company. We declared this development at the EEC Aegean Regional Directorate Promotion Meeting attended by valuable business partners from İzmir and its surroundings in the Hilton İzmir on the evening of 21th April, Friday.
The Aegean Regional Manager of the EEC Integrated Building Control Systems, Yavuz Alkan, who made the opening speech of the meeting, summarized the cooperation of ABS Alarm and ECC by stating; “ABS Alarm is still an active company and we will continue to serve our customers in the ongoing processes such as warranty and maintenance of the projects we have completed so far. We will provide a new aspect to the solution partnerships we have carried out with EEC within the past years and continue our activities as the EEC Aegean Regional Directorate”.
Yavuz Alkan continued his presentation by briefly giving information about “YEST Regulation - Engineering Services Regulation for Building Electronic Systems and Installations”. Underlining that the improperly installed systems will become unusable in a short time and will not function if necessary one day, Alkan reminded that this is a very important point in terms of safety of life and property.
Afterwards, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of EEC Integrated Building Control Systems, Hayri Kartopu, told the guests the stages of growth since the foundation of EEC and the information about the reference projects that are the evidence of this. Kartopu evaluated this pleasant development in the Aegean Regional Directorate with the following statement: “With this event, we had the opportunity to declare that we will reflect our experience of more than 35 years to our customers with our faster and more effective services with the powerful staff of our Aegean Regional Directorate.”
In the last session of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of EEC Integrated Building Control Systems, Haluk Yanık, shared important notes with the listeners from his professional knowledge on “Errors Made in the Selection and Application of Electronic Systems Used in Buildings and Facilities”. Underlining that 80% of the enterprises that have survived a serious fire cannot be reopened or closed within a few years, Yanık mentioned that specifications and discoveries that are not based on risk and need analysis in addition to project errors caused by the same solution to different types of buildings are also a factor that increases budgets. Haluk Yanık expressed that electronic systems in buildings were established with two main objectives in order to reduce risks and increase working comfort, and gave comprehensive information about how to carry out operations for these two main objectives. After answering the questions of the guests about the presentations, the meeting proceeded with pleasant conversation in the cocktail area.
